Every Partee Racing engine build receives a new or fully rebuilt oil pump. When BMW discontinued production of new S62 oil pumps and prices for other models began skyrocketing, we decided to take matters into our own hands. Our BMW S62 / S54 Oil Pump Rebuild Service was developed to ensure that every customer has access to a pump that performs as flawlessly as a brand-new unit—without the inflated OEM cost.

Rebuilt the Right Way

Each pump sent to Partee Racing is completely disassembled, ultrasonically cleaned, and inspected for damage or abnormal wear. The internal gearset is then REM polished to eliminate micro-abrasions and surface irregularities, restoring optimal oil film thickness and pressure consistency. This process resolves the most common failure point found in used or contaminated pumps, particularly those from engines that have suffered bearing or rod failure.

Once cleaned and polished, every unit is reassembled using red Loctite and premium assembly lubricant for secure and consistent torque retention. We replace the internal tensioner and spring as needed, guaranteeing smooth oil pressure delivery across the RPM range.
