The “budget version” of our better than stock BMW S85 longblock includes all of the same components and machine work as the “high end version,” but swaps 92.5mm Mahle 4032 alloy pistons with Mahle pins and rings for the proprietary 94mm JE 2618 pistons and BMW S62 rings.

Our standard “Better than Stock” longblock starts at $20,500, plus a $4,500 core charge if applicable. Additional upgrades like motorsport valve guides or custom tuning may affect the final price. Our rebuilds typically take 8-12 weeks from the time we receive your engine. This timeline includes disassembly, inspection, machining, assembly, and testing. For custom builds or during peak periods, additional time may be required.
Our engine rebuild process includes complete disassembly, precision machining, balancing, upgraded pistons, bearings, and other critical components. We replace all one-time-use parts and consumables with genuine BMW parts, and every engine is rigorously tested before delivery. You’ll also receive a detailed blueprint upon request.
You can send us your engine for rebuilding, or we can remove and install it at our facility. Installation services are available for an additional cost.
