BMW S62 Vanos Rebuild – Better Than New

This service is the same proven process used on our 430+ WHP Better Than Stock longblocks and supercharged customer builds. Whether you’re prepping for a daily driver refresh or a high-RPM track monster, we take your worn S62 units and return them cleaner, tighter, and stronger than the day they left the factory.

Cleaned. Upgraded. Tested.

In our BMW S62 Vanos Rebuild we disassemble each Vanos unit and clean every piece with our ultrasonic cleaner. Once stripped of varnish and debris, we rebuild the assembly using Beisan Systems Viton seals, BMW’s latest lock ring and washer, and fresh gaskets to restore proper oil control and eliminate internal pressure bleed.

At the same time, we bench test all solenoids for proper activation, switching speed, and signal integrity. We remove the OEM screen filters that commonly clog and replace all O-rings with genuine BMW D-rings. Where necessary, we reflow solder joints and replace cracked or damaged connector housings.

This Vanos rebuild isn’t just theory, it’s race-proven. Our process is the result of hundreds of hours of engine development and dyno validation. The result is smoother idle, better midrange, and dead-consistent VANOS advance across the full RPM range. Want to take it further? Price is per unit, meaning the price for rebuilding both banks of vanos is $500.  Typical turnaround is 5–7 business days. Stuck or otherwise defective solenoids will be replaced at an additional cost.  Installation of Beisan anti-rattle kit is priced per vanos unit as well.  Please note that the Beisan anti-rattle kit makes no difference in vanos performance.  It is purely aesthetic.
