The factory E39 M5 clutch line is part hard line, part rubber hose—and that rubber section is the problem. Even when new, it introduces sponginess and reduces pedal feedback. Over time, engine bay heat and fluid pressure degrade the hose further, leading to a vague, inconsistent pedal feel that robs the driving experience of precision.
While nearly every other BMW platform has long enjoyed aftermarket clutch line options, the E39 M5 has remained left out. So we made one.
We begin with a brand new OEM E39 M5 clutch line. The original flexible rubber hose section is carefully removed and replaced with a premium E39 M5 Steel Braided Clutch Line, professionally crimped to a connector that perfectly mates with the factory hard line leading to the clutch slave cylinder.
Every unit is pressure tested, built to brake-line spec, and engineered to handle years of thermal cycling without degradation. This isn’t just a repair, it’s a real upgrade.
