E39 M5 Rear Subframe Upgrade – Reinforced, Coated, and Pre-Bushed

The factory E39 M5 rear subframe is known for its weak front differential mount and incomplete welds in key stress zones. These flaws make it a high-risk component in any performance build. Under high load, the front mount can flex, crack, or even separate. At Partee Racing, we’ve created a solution that doesn’t just patch the problem, it eliminates it entirely.

Restored OEM Subframe, Built for Strength

We start with genuine OEM E39 M5 rear subframes in excellent condition, meaning completely free of cracks, bends, warping, or prior repairs. Each unit is bead blasted to bare metal for full inspection and precise weld preparation.

Next, we TIG weld our proprietary front diff mount reinforcement and complete all unfinished factory welds in the high-stress zones. After welding, the subframe is coated in a durable, glossy metallic silver powdercoat. This finish closely matches the factory appearance while adding long-term corrosion resistance.

Pre-Installed Bushing Package Included

Every upgraded subframe comes with a carefully selected street-performance bushing set:

  • Poly-filled OEM BMW rear subframe bushings

  • 75D polyurethane rear differential bushings

  • Solid 7075-T6 aluminum front differential bushing with flange to eliminate forward diff movement

If you have different goals for your build, we’ve got you covered. We offer optional bushing configurations ranging from full 7075-T6 aluminum bushings for track builds to softer factory-style setups. Just let us know your preference.
